DDA Goals

The Downtown Development Authority has been working on their 2017 goals. Some of the goals include better signage on M-71, possible canoe launch, rails to trails, and events (Farmers market, Christmas in the Village and Memorial Day). If you would like to volunteer to help with any event or project please message us. We will be forming committees that will be meeting to plan and organize the events and projects. It really does take a Village to make these things successful and continue, so please consider helping your community out and volunteer.

Mystery Spot Revealed

At long last we are finally getting a peek at the newly renovated building on Main Street. This has been restored to how it would have looked when it was originally built. We are looking forward to future updates on this beautiful building.

The DDA has partnered with Place & Main Advisors, LLC to develop a Downtown Revitalization Strategy for Vernon. Please take some time to view the recommendations in the link below. If you would like to be a part of helping our community with any of these projects please contact the Village office for more information.
